I am pleased to announce that Baxter Imaging LLC is now offering low-elevation aerial photography, with the same standard of excellence as our ground-based architectural work. I prefer to shoot most of my images from ground-level, but there are certainly times where an elevated perspective is essential to capturing the surrounds views. This new system has a small footprint and extends up to 60 feet high, which will make it useful for both interior, exterior, residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

I worked with assistant/photographer Kim Perina to capture a couple of images of the giant Christmas tree display at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. As with most dusk shots, there was a lot of set up and a lot of waiting for the perfect light, but the resulting color of the evening sky adds so much to the image. The impressive light (and sound) show will run through January.

I had the opportunity, along with 30 of the Valley’s best commercial photographers, to participate in Creativa’s Portfolio Speed-Dating event at the Duce. It was a series of lighting rounds, as we each had 5 minutes to make an impression on some of the biggest Ad Agencies and Design Firms in Arizona. I showed more than just my architectural work, including the image below from Durant’s. Hopefully they will remember me. Time will tell.
