This is one of my favorite images from yesterday’s shoot on Mummy Mountain. The modern bed is a collaborative piece by Peter Thomas Designs and Creative Leather. The mountainside made for a dramatic and unexpected backdrop. It was a full day of photographing custom furniture at a private residence, with Peter Moosbrugger (Peter Thomas Designs), Mike Gregory (Creative Leather).

Modern art by Sharon Fannin (ASID), Fannin Interiors

I recently worked with Sharon Fannin (ASID), Fannin Interiors, to photograph a modern master bath in Paradise Valley. It was a challenge to accurately capture the monochromatic tones of the gray slate walls, while retaining color in the greenish-brown flooring. We sat and processed the images together in order to get the color spot on. It was great working with such a talented designer.

A Wedding at Villa Sienna

Morgan & Abbey Nichols, producers of “The Story is Told” wedding films, asked me to assist in producing a wedding video at Villa Sienna. The location was very photogenic and made for a striking backdrop. It’s been some time since I worked a wedding, but it was quite enjoyable…and of course I couldn’t leave without an architectural shot.

Infiniti Dealership

This image of the Infiniti Dealership was the first opportunity I’ve had to use my telescopic mast at evening, along with my lighting equipment. The stability of the unit is a fair trade off for the weight, resulting in a tack sharp image during a relatively long exposure.
