Aerial Imaging
I took my first ride in a helicopter last week. The goal was to capture aerial images of Sagewood, while maintaining the horizon line to give better perspective and show the context of its location. I’ve photographed the facility both from the ground and a manlift, but never from the air. It was both exciting and unsettling at the same time.

Venue at the Grove
I was recently asked to photograph a wedding…something I haven’t done in several years. I was reminded of the challenges involved in capturing a live event, but it was enjoyable in part, because of the photogenic couple and location of Venue at the Grove.

Best Western Premier Miami
Just returned from Miami, Florida photographing the newly re-modeled Best Western Premier. The marketing group needed several images asap so this is the first time I’ve processed photos before the shoot was even wrapped.

ASID Award – Best Vacation Home
I recently found out that Lucas/Eilers Design Associates, one of my Houston based clients, won an ASID award for best vacation home. Interestingly the home was located in California, designed by a Texan, and photographed by an Arizonan. We didn’t plan that.

Inside Job
I was recently asked by my own family to photograph a few images of their newly remodeled interior. It was fun to shoot and even more fun to hear them say “Is that our house?”
