Building an Image

My client requested that I photograph some new furniture pieces intended for a powder room. As it turned out, the vessel sink and hardware was not installed. The solution was to photograph the pieces separately from the space, then composite everything together. The challenge with any composite is matching lighting, angle, perspective, etc. I was relieved that it actually worked. If I didn’t know…then I don’t think I would know.

12th NAPP Editors’ Choice

Featured on IAAP site

I was contacted by Thomas Bliss, Director of IAAP (International Association of Architectural Photographers), requesting to use my image for the newly redesigned website and newsletter announcement. It was an honor to be asked, especially since the image he selected was truly the most challenging space I have captured to date.

New Phoenix Children’s Hospital

Some of the Valley’s leading designers worked from dawn to dusk creating designer trees for this event, benefiting the new hospital. The list included Erik Peterson, Vallone Design, Jamie Herzlinger, Lawrence Lake, and many more.
